MLH (Major League Hacking) Global Hackweek for Social Good is a global event where hackers, developers, and tech enthusiasts come together to create innovative solutions to tackle real-world social problems. The event is organized by Major League Hacking, a company that provides a platform for hackathons and coding competitions worldwide.
The event aims to promote social impact and encourage participants to use their technical skills for the greater good. At the end of the hackweek, projects are judged based on their impact, creativity, and technical execution, and winning teams are awarded prizes.
Achievements:
• I ended up in the Top - 5% of hackers across the globe! It is an honor to have been recognized for my hard work and dedication towards creating innovative solutions for social good.

DUHacks is a 36-hour National-Level hybrid hackathon organized by Google Developer Student Club, DDU in which all participants can sharpen their skills and connect with people to grow together.
The hackathon is designed to spark innovation, attract and educate new talent and create new channels for collaboration between performance and capacity professionals.
Achievements:
• I successfully completed the hackathon and submitted a Web-Development base project on Devfolio following all the submission guidelines and procedures.
• In the end, I also received a certificate of excellence for my successful contribution.

Diversion 2K23, powered by Major League Hacking (MLH), is one of India's largest hackathons.
As a selected open-source contributor, my role was likely to involve contributing to open-source projects and helping to maintain them during the hackathon event.
This included fixing bugs, adding new features, or improving documentation. I will have the opportunity to collaborate with other contributors, network with industry professionals, and gain experience working with open-source projects.
Achievements:
• WINNER (Top Contributor) of this Open - Source phase and was recognized in the Top 20 out of all participating contributors.
• Helped Embellish (the open-source project I chose) in winning the event and achieving 2nd rank out of all projects.
• Fixed 2 bugs on Embellish's official website while working during this open-source event.
• Added 10+ new components via PR's to various sections of the Embellish GitHub repository.
• Successfully merged 13 Pull Requests.
• I was the overall TOP contributor for this project during this open-source event.

HackNITR is one of India's largest student-run hackathons which is yearly organized by NIT Rourkela. Unlike every year this year also had many big sponsors like MLH, Devfolio, and Polygon of which the main sponsor was MLH.
I participated in the hackathon and successfully developed an AI Image Generation project with the help of the in demand Open AI api library in a span of 36 hours and published the same on Devfolio and Github during Round 1. Will be receiving swags and goodies for the same in the future once Round 2 of the hackathon gets completed.

Vinhack is one of a kind hackathon conducted by VinnovateIT every year to encourage tech enthusiasts from across the country to develop their ideas for the future. Here participants come together and find creative solutions for given problem statements based on the current social obstacles. It is a 36-hour hybrid hackathon where 500+ participants participated this year.

Participated in the Spark AR leARn Initiative Hackathon. It was an open innovation challenge hackathon.
Open Innovation Challenge is an online hackathon by Reskilll in collaboration with Spark AR, inviting students, developers, tech enthusiasts to learn about Spark AR Studio and utilise it's tools to create their assets that are innovative, value creating and have a wider impact on the audience.
• Got familiar with Meta spark AR studio software for developing AR filters.
• Built an AR game and many AR filters in the Meta spark AR studio within the given time for the hackathon.
• Successfully built, demonstrated and hosted the AR game and filters on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

Moreficent helps to improve the learning outcomes of students by providing a professional-grade programming environment running on good hardware.
It runs standard desktop applications, like Android Studio, in the cloud and stream the user interface to the browser. Through a combination of advances in algorithms and the adoption of cutting-edge standards, we are able to make the remote application feel as responsive as the one running locally.
• Worked on building an Android App using Moreficent platform.
• Built a Quiz App using Android Studio on the cloud which was possible because of Moreficent platform.
• Got aware of running standard desktop applications, like Android Studio, in the cloud and stream the user interface to the browser.

Hacktoberfest is a yearly event to encourage people to contribute to open source in the month of October. In Hacktoberfest 2022 some top contributors were eligible for the swags including me this time.
