Thesis: Application of Energy Production and Price Uncertainty Forecasting in Feasibility Appraisal of Philippine Wind Power Investments

In this thesis, the financial viability (in terms of NPV) of wind investments in 9 different sites and 4 different financing scenarios in the Philippines were determined using Monte Carlo simulations in Oracle Crystal Ball. Results show that only wind investments with feed-in-tariff support in Basco, Batanes and Guiuan, Eastern Samar were viable.
