Saturday 27th of April, held our amazing Build with AI event hosted by GDSC University Of Buea at Orange Digital Center University of Buea with an outstanding attendance of 70+ participants. The day kicked off with a session on Large Language Models (LLMs) led by Eng. Alphonse Brandon. Next, we dived into hands-on workshops. In the first workshop, participants used tools from Google Cloud Console and Gemini AI while the second workshop was all about using Google's Large Language Models, including Gemini Pro. In addition to it, 8 teams showcased their incredible creations to a panel of judges: Senior Software Eng. Derick Alangi, Engineers Alphonse Brandon and Tambe Salome. Last week, I attended the NoCode hands-on workshop hosted by GDSC University Of Buea at the Orange Cameroun Digital Center of the University of Buea. During the workshop, we delved into FlutterFlow, a Drag and Drop builder, to construct applications, preview them, and seamlessly integrate APIs. It was an incredibly enlightening and enjoyable experience! 😄 P.S.: Following the workshop, I had a fantastic photoshoot session with the NoCode instructor, Fongang Rodrique, alongside Durrell Gemuh and the other Core Team Members of GDSC University Of Buea - Tambe Salome, Kouti Divine, Precious Kedju Lekunze, and Fofie Fopa Elisabeth. 😎😂 If you need brand ambassadors to pose for your brand, contact us🤭 😂

Our recent workshop on no-code app development, that held on Saturday 30th of March, was a hit! With over 60 participants, we delved into creating Mobile 📱, Web 💻, and Desktop Apps 🖥️ effortlessly using FlutterFlow. Thanks to FlutterFlow's support for making the event a memorable one, and to the NoCode expert Fongang Rodrique for hosting this hands-on workshop. The FlutterFlow Nocode App Development Workshop was a Success🚀. --- I was privileged to host a hands-on builders workshop on the 30th of March 2024 with about 60 participants. The workshop aimed to teach attendees how to build Mobile 📱, Web 💻, and Desktop Apps 🖥️ without writing code using  FlutterFlow a no-code app builder. The session highlighted how participants could grasp concepts revolving around building UIs with draggable elements and getting creative. The fun part was letting them explore the platform and go crazy. To make it even more fun, there were snacks 🍪, swags 🎁, and Starlink internet 🌟, thanks to FlutterFlow's generous support. There is no better view than seeing an almost equal ratio of male 👨 to female 👩 participants with the ladies shining in front with their "Own the Code" t-shirts. Last Saturday, the GDSC University Of Buea hosted an enlightening session titled "Design Day - Introduction to Design with Figma," in celebration of Women's Day, led by Ntenka Ndipingwi. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for both learning and inspiration. Throughout the session, Ntenka delved into various aspects of UI/UX design in an easy-to-understand manner. She covered topics such as the definition of UI/UX design, its significance, the design process, essential principles, and the future of UI/UX design, particularly highlighting how it will be shaped as more women are getting into the Tech Industry. The event was a resounding success with an enthusiastic group of mentees in attendance. Led by the knowledgeable Samuel Tiokeng, the session delved into the intricacies of Git and GitHub, providing our mentees with invaluable insights into these essential tools for developers.
